About First Roof Limited
First Roof Limited is a local Bognor Regis based company carrying out work across the South and Home Counties.
The Company was formed by Mike Fildes, who has over 50 years of experience in the roofing industry.
The Company has a trained direct labour force who have Level 2 NVQ and some Level 3 NVQ qualifications in Roof Slating and Tiling, Lead Work and some with Level 3 NVQ Heritage Roofing Skills qualification.
Training plays an important part of the Company in that Mike Fildes set up South Coast Roof Training Ltd 19 years ago with a Centre in Littlehampton.
There, we are a Lead Sheet Training Academy satellite centre and are accredited by the Awarding Body, NOCN to deliver NVQ’s to companies across the South as well as providing a training platform for our own operatives.
The scope of our works include a range of Heritage projects, including works to Churches and Listed Buildings to new sites and domestic re-roofs and repairs.
The Company has Public and Employers Liability insurance in place and a Health & Safety Policy and can and does produce Risk and Method Statements when required.
